Gong is named after the impressive percussion music intrument originating in Southeast Asia. Even though the simiarity in appearance is obvious, the Gong collection has a right to exist on its own due to the appealing light effect at the center of it.

The Gong table and floor lamps feature a metal disc that is held up by two legs on either side. The floor version is available in two sizes, of which the largest is a real eye catcher with its 180 centimeter in height. The disk is painted gold to reflect the light from the E27/E26 lamp at the center, resulting in an appealing light effect that is reminiscent of the sun. The lamps are leaning forward that give the design a dynamic pose, while the disks can be rotated to aim the light in a desired direction.
